Bolton Valley  – open with 5 Trails and 3 Lifts

Burke Mountain – open with 8 Trails and 1 Lift

Cochran’s Ski Area – is currently closed with anticipated opening day of December 18th

Jay Peak  – open with 10 Trails and 4 Lifts

Today’s turn menu features some crunchy cord in the morning with an afternoon of softer slipperiness.

Temps dropped into the teens overnight allowing for continued snowmaking around the Village chair, and setting up the snow for tilling into tubes of our finest corduroy. It’s expected to warm throughout the day and snow is predicted for the afternoon. Looking into the future, we see the Metro Quad opening this Friday tying together the Stateside and Tramside areas of the resort. After a brief burb of warmth tomorrow, we snap into a pattern of cold air and an active storm pattern heading into the Christmas week.

Killington  – open with 31 Trails and 7 Lifts

If Mother Nature isn’t bringing snow, we’ll take some sun as we continue along the meteorological roller coaster this week.

Mad River Glen – Reopening soon with 4 Trails and 1 Lift

Magic Mountain  – is currently closed with anticipated opening day of December 18th

Middlebury Snow Bowl – Reopening soon with 2 Trails and 1 Lift

Mount Snow – open with 22 Trails and 4 Lifts

Okemo Mountain  – open with 34 Trails and 7Lifts

Today will be another warm day for skiing and riding. An inversion of temps exist today, with the summit reaching to the middle to upper 20s and at the base reaching low 20s. It will be mostly cloudy today and very little wind. Come join us for another warm beautiful day on the mountain.

Pico Mountain – Reopening soon with 3 Trails and 2 Lifts

Ski Quechee – is currently closed with anticipated opening day of December 23rd

Smugglers’ Notch – open with 10 Trails and 3 Lifts

 Today’s forecast calls for increasing clouds in advance of a late day wintry mix. 24 degrees on the upper mountain, 22 degrees here at the base. Those temps are forecast to rise to 25 degrees up top and 30 degrees at the base by noon. South winds 10 to 20 miles per hour forecast on the upper mountain, picking up a little later in the day.

Stowe Mountain – open with 22 Trails and 4 Lifts

Stratton Mountain – open with 37 Trails and 7 Lifts

Sugarbush – open with 19 Trails and 4 Lifts

Suicide Six Ski Area – is currently closed with anticipated opening day of December 22nd

Weather forecast for next several Days

Today: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 5pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 35. Light southeast wind becoming south 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tonight: Snow and sleet before midnight, then rain or freezing rain. Low around 30. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday: A chance of rain before 7am, then a chance of showers between 7am and noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. South wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 36. Breezy, with a south wind 11 to 20 mph becoming west after midnight.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 41. West wind 10 to 16 mph.

Friday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 26. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph.

Saturday: Light snow likely, mainly after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 31. North wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
