Holm sweeps Pro Mod finals in Plattsburgh for ECS Conx2share Series,

PLATTSBURGH, New York (Feb. 27, 2017) – Norwegian racer Kristoffer Holm notched his first clean sweep of the Pro Mod finals over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 4 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.
Holm (Team Southside/Polaris), of Storslet, Norway, dominated Friday’s Pro Mod final (a first under the lights) after nailing a perfect start. Leo Patenaude (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo) crossed the stripe in second, while Cody Paolella (Team Southside/Polaris) filled out the podium in third. (more…)

CLARKSBURG, Mass. (Feb. 20, 2017) – It’s one of the most beautiful and popular cities on the western shores of Lake Champlain, and many of its inhabitants love both snowmobiles and racing.
Winter enthusiasts across the Champlain Valley are getting excited, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) gets set for Round 4 on the seven-race 2017 campaign on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25, at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Plattsburgh, New York.

Muller, Anderson notch big wins in Salamanca for ECS Conx2share Series,

SALAMANCA, NY (Feb. 5, 2017) — Midwest veterans Travis Muller and Camryn Anderson earned final round wins in their respective classes on Saturday, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 2 of the seven-race 2017 schedule at the beautiful Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino.
This round was run during ISOC’s annual Eastern National, allowing for crossover between regional and national tours which enhanced the competition in both series. (more…)

CLARKSBURG, Mass. (Jan. 18, 2016) – Now that winter has finally moved in to stay here in the northeast, the time to go snowmobile racing is here. After months of preparation at race shops throughout New England and New York, it’s time to load the trailers, pack the gear and get those sleds on the snow.
Race fans can get ready for another high-flying season, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) gets set for the 2016 season opener, on Saturday and Sunday, January 23-24, at

Ski Butternut pushing to open weekend of January 2 – 3.
Great Barrington – After reviewing the most recent short and long term weather forecast, Ski Butternut’s General Manager, Dick McCann happily announced Monday morning that the mountain is looking to open as early as Saturday, January 2nd or Sunday January 3rd. Understandably opening is dependent upon the mountain receiving the necessary cold temperatures to blow snow, but the forecast looks very promising in regard to that much needed return to colder temperatures.
The Berkshires are under a Winter Weather Advisory Monday night into Tuesday afternoon that brings with it cold temperatures. The low for Monday night is predicted to dip down around 23 degrees. Snowmaking weather then returns again Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a low of 22 predicted and then again Sunday with temperatures forecast to dip to a low of 17 degrees. Temperatures in the mid-teens are ideal for snowmaking operations at Ski Butternut. These forecasts come from The Weather Channel. (more…)
