Morin, Poirier split Pro finals in Fonda for East Coast Snocross, Presented by AMSOIL and Woody’s Traction Patenaude, Gaspardi roll in Pro Lite & Sport

FONDA, N.Y. (Feb. 3, 2014) – Former regional snocross champions Mathieu Morin and Danny Poirier each claimed a Pro Open final over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 5 of its 10-race 2014 schedule at historic Fonda Speedway.

Morin (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo), of Val-d’Or, Quebec, led every lap of Sunday’s grueling 15-lap final to post his second victory of the season. Poirier was rock-solid behind him the whole race to make it a 1-2 finish for his team, while Vermont veteran Lincoln Lemieux filled out the podium.

Poirier, Lemieux split Pro finals at Louiseville for East Coast Snocross, Presented by AMSOIL and Woody’s Traction Jess, Patenaude trade Pro Lite wins

LOUISEVILLE, Quebec (Jan. 27, 2014) – Multi-time series champion Danny Poirier and Vermont veteran Lincoln Lemieux each posted Pro Open wins over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 4 of its 10-race 2014 schedule in the chilly confines of Quebec.

Poirier (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo), of St. Theodore, QC, held off a hard-charging Lemieux and Pro rookie Mike Pilotte for top honors on Sunday. It was his fourth victory of the season in eight starts, putting him in an ideal position to go after a fourth championship in the coming weeks.

CHESHIRE, Conn. (Jan. 24, 2014) – Championship snowmobile snocross racing is coming to the hills of western Massachusetts this winter, and powersports fans need to take note.

Officials from East Coast Snocross (ECS) are anxious for the series debut in North Adams, Massachusetts, as MVP Promotions prepares to host Round 8 of the 10-race 2014 schedule on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, at “The Range,” a wonderful four-seasons recreational site located on Route 8.

Lemieux, Poirier split Pro finals at Airborne in East Coast Snocross, Presented by AMSOIL and Woody’s Traction Ingles Performance bags second Pro sweep on Sunday

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Jan. 20, 2014) – Vermont snocross veteran Lincoln Lemieux and three-time champion Danny Poirier each claimed a Pro Open final over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 3 of its 10-race 2014 schedule at the famed Airborne Park Speedway.

Lemieux, of St. Johnsbury, VT, powered his Ski-doo to victory in Saturday’s 12-lap battle with Poirier (second) and Quebec veteran Dave Allard (third) filling out the podium.

Ingles Performance takes over Podium in Pro and Pro Lite at ECS Fonda, NY

Ingles Performance race team swept the podium in Pro Open at Fonda Speedway in New York. Danny Poirier stood on top of the podium with a first place, while teammates Mathieu Morin, and Kevin Wallenstein joined him for second and third. Making this a first ever podium sweep.

Poirier of St Theodore-d’Acton, QC, was out front in the 1st lap and Morin slotted in right behind him. Wallenstein who made the long trek from Cadillac, MI was moving up through the field after getting caught up in the start. He just started picking off riders one at a time and with 2 laps to go he passed Lincoln Lemieux for 3rd.

Bauer, Poirier split Pro finals in Fonda for East Coast Snocross,
Presented by AMSOIL and Woody’s Traction
Ingles Performance sweeps Sunday’s Pro podium

FONDA, N.Y. (Jan. 13, 2014) – Wisconsin native Mike Bauer and multi-time champion Danny Poirier split the Pro finals last weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) made a highly-successful debut at historic Fonda Speedway in Fonda, New York.

Bauer (Jess Racing/Arctic Cat) won Saturday’s grueling 12-lap Pro Open battle over Poirier and Pro rookie Mike Pilotte (Team Southside/Mystic Lubricants Polaris), while Poirier (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo) led from start to finish in Sunday’s 10-lap final. Poirier’s teammates Mathieu Morin of Val D’Or, Quebec, and Michigan native Kevin Wallenstein finished second and third respectively on Sunday to give the Ingles squad an impressive first-time sweep of the Pro podium.
