Ingles Performance wraps up successful 2019-20 snocross season Patenaude carries Ingles/Ski-doo colors to ESXT Pro title
PHOENIX, New York (March 30, 2020) — Despite a warmer than average winter across much of the northeast, athletes on the Ingles Performance/Ski-doo snocross team still managed to deliver wins and podium finishes from early December through mid-March.
Team athletes Leo Patenaude, Adam Ashline, Alissah Ashline, Marco Travaglini and Jake Boutwell all put in stellar performances for the longtime Ski-doo squad from upstate New York. Patenaude, of Hartland, VT, went after the inaugural Eastern Snocross Tour (ESXT) Pro championship, and got it done.
Lessard, Thompson sweep top classes in Jackman for Rock Maple Racing Bright sun, cold winds highlight cross country season finale
JACKMAN, Maine (March 15, 2020) — Veteran snowmobile racers Remington Lessard and Dylan Thompson swept their respective classes on Saturday, as Rock Maple Racing (RMR) completed the fifth and final round of competition for 2020 at the remote and beautiful Long Pond Camps.
Lessard (Grip ‘N Rip Racing/Ski-doo), of Monmouth, Maine, powered to victory in the premier Pro Open and Pro Stock classes. In the Open final, Vermont-based rider Scott Preston put in a strong effort to finish second, while 2020 points champion Heath Bell (Bell Racing/Ski-doo) settled for third.
In the Factory Stock race, TJ Leach (Crossfit Beacon/Arctic Cat) crossed the stripe in second, while former snocross standout Ken Murphy (Arctic Cat) filled out the podium with another solid run.
Season finale in Jackman all that remains for Rock Maple Racing Bell, Thompson on track to secure points titles
HAMPSTEAD, New Hampshire (March 12, 2020) — After a season full of intense battles and courageous efforts, it all comes down to one final day. Winter is just about over, and for cross country snowmobile racers, it’s time to close it out with one last checkered flag.
Race teams from around the northeast will converge on the remote northwestern Maine town of Jackman this Saturday, as Rock Maple Racing (RMR) wraps up its 2020 campaign at Long Pond Camps. Jackman, unlike a majority of New England, has received ample snowfall the past few weeks.
Spectator gates will open at 8 a.m., with racing getting under way at 9. Admission is $10 for adults, while children age 10 and under are admitted free. The RMR season finale is hosted by the Border Riders Sportsman Club, with additional support from Hall & Smith Energy, Jackman Power Sports, Long Pond Camps, Royal River Boatyard, Surf & Turf Engineering, Twin Brook Landscaping, Bishop’s Motel, Four Seasons Restaurant, Jackman Auto Parts, Jordan Equipment, Lake Parlin Lodge, Jackman Equipment, the Northland Hotel, Bishop’s Store, EJ Carrier, Inc., Mama Bear Restaurant and Mountain Grooming.
Bell, Thompson sweep top classes at Young Farms for Rock Maple Racing Point chasers add to win totals in snowy Vermont
WEST GLOVER, Vermont (Mar. 2, 2020) — Veteran cross country racers Heath Bell and Dylan Thompson swept the top classes on Saturday, as Rock Maple Racing (RMR) completed Round 4 on the six-race 2020 schedule at the beautiful Young Farms.
Bell (Bell Racing/Ski-doo), of New Gloucester, Maine, won the Pro Open and Pro Stock finals to bring his win total to five for the 2020 season. Remington Lessard (Grip ‘N Rip Racing/Ski-doo), of Monmouth, Maine, followed Bell across the stripe in both finals to claim second.
Luke Vaadi (Ingles Performance/Polaris), of Mannsville, NY, broke up the Ski-doo party in Pro Open with a solid third-place run, while in Pro Stock it was Portland, Maine’s TJ Leach (Crossfit Beacon/Arctic Cat) who filled out the podium with a strong effort.
