Ingles Performance wraps up strong 2016 season with ECS Championship
Danny Poirier edges teammate Mathieu Morin in historic battle
PHOENIX, N.Y. (Apr. 4, 2016) – While Mother Nature did her absolute best to prevent several major winter events from taking place here in the northeast, the New York-based Ingles Performance snocross team battled the elements and came away with another Pro Open championship.
Quebec veteran Danny Poirier was dedicated to capturing his sixth regional points title in 2016, yet his fellow countryman and teammate almost took it away. Mathieu Morin was back in top form last winter, riding as fast and consistently as he did in 2011 when he won the ECS title. In the final tally after six weekends of racing (three races were canceled due to a lack of snow), Poirier edged Morin by a mere point to secure the crown. Montana Jess earns 2016 Pro Lite title at Neilsen’s Snocross Grand Finale
LAKE GENEVA, Wisconsin (Mar. 23, 2016) – Massachusetts-based Jess Racing capped an incredible season on the national snocross tour this past weekend, competing in ISOC’s Neilsen’s Snocross Grand Finale at the beautiful Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
Pro Lite rider Montana Jess locked up the 2016 Pro Lite class championship on Saturday night, notching his 11th podium finish (third) in 15 starts. After earning first and second-place finishes during qualifying, Jess grabbed the holeshot in a hotly-contested eight-lap final. The track at Geneva featured the usual uphill and steep downhill sections, keeping Montana and his rivals on their toes every lap.

Morin sweeps Pro finals at Pittston Farm for East Coast Snocross,

ROCKWOOD, Maine (Mar. 14, 2016) — Former series champion Mathieu Morin notched his first sweep of the Pro Open finals since his 2011 championship season, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 6 on the 2016 schedule at historic Pittston Farm.
Morin, of Val-D’Or, Quebec, powered his Ingles Performance Ski-doo to victory on Saturday after a strong effort in qualifying. Swedish invader Mikko Osmo (Team Southside/Polaris) chased Morin throughout the final yet settled for second, while New Hampshire veteran Jake daSilva (daSilva Racing/Ski-doo) put in a strong performance to round out the podium in third. Points leader Danny Poirier (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo) came off his sled, unhooked his tether and had trouble getting the sled refired. He would soldier on to finish fourth, while series newcomer Emil Hansson (Team Southside/Polaris) completed the top five. (more…)

CLARKSBURG, Mass. (March 11, 2016) – Whenever a touring series visits a new venue for the first time, there’s a certain amount of excitement and anticipation among teams and race fans.
On Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, fans of snowmobile snocross and many who’ve yet to enjoy the sport in person will converge on southern New England, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) makes it first-ever visit to the beautiful Mount Southington Ski Area in Plantsville, Connecticut.

BENNINGTON, Vermont (Feb. 29, 2016) – Five-time champion and current point leader Danny Poirier and teammate Mathieu Morin split the Pro Open finals over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 5 of its eight-race schedule at Willow Park in Bennington, Vermont.

Jess Racing earns another podium at Hollywood Casino Snocross National
JOLIET, Illinois (Mar. 7, 2016) – Massachusetts-based Jess Racing enjoyed another solid outing on the national snocross tour over the weekend, competing in ISOC’s annual Hollywood Casino Snocross National at the beautiful Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois.
Pro Lite rider Montana Jess kicked off the weekend in impressive fashion on Friday evening, earning first and fourth place finishes during qualifying rounds. In the 14-lap final, Jess inherited the lead shortly after the start when two riders came together in the first corner. The points leader set sail and held the lead until the final circuit, settling for second to notch his 10th podium finish in 13 starts.
