LOON MOUNTAIN RESORT TO OPEN FOR SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17

LINCOLN, NH (November 14, 2017) – Loon Mountain Resort will open for the 2017-18 winter season with top-to-bottom terrain on Friday, November 17th at 9 a.m.

Skiers and snowboarders will enjoy 8 trails on opening day, with continuous skiing and riding on two routes from summit to base. Open trails will include Exodus, Bear Claw Extension, Upper Bear Claw, Upper Picked Rock, Grand Junction, Lower Bear Claw, Lower Picked Rock, and Seven Brothers. Lift service will be offered via the White Mountain Express Gondola. Open terrain will be suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders only, and snowmaking will continue as weather permits on certain open trails.

WILDCAT OPENS EARLY FOR 60TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON

Pinkham Notch, NH – Today Wildcat Mountain opened for skiing and riding making this one of its earliest openings ever. Sixty years ago, this January, Wildcat Mountain offered lift-serviced skiing for the first time with the East’s first gondola. Much has changed since then but at Wildcat much has also stayed the same which for many people is why they continue to visit.

Today Wildcat opened with one run consisting of 5 trails commonly referred to as the Lynx Trails on over 2100’ of vertical offering up the most vertical in East. Wildcat will operate weekends from 9am – 3:30pm until Thanksgiving and then will switch to daily operations moving forward.

CLARKSBURG, Mass. (Nov. 8, 2017) – Officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) have released their 2018 event schedule, with a mix of familiar and new host venues on the slate.

“I think we’ve put together a full schedule that will reach a number of important market areas in our region,” series owner Kurt Gagne said. “I’m excited about going to a couple new sites, but I’m pleased to have several returning venues on the list, as well. I think it’s a good mix for race teams, and I hope folks around the northeast will come out this winter to see what we’re all about.”

SBT Racing announces team roster for 2018 East Coast Snocross Conx2share Series
