Inaugural Maine North Woods Sno-X Challenge set for Historic Pittston Farm
at East Coast Snocross, Presented by AMSOIL, Woody’s Traction and FXR
CLARKSBURG, Mass. (Dec. 11, 2015) – It’s no secret the Great State of Maine has some of the finest snowmobile trails in the entire country. It’s also home to some of the most remote, untouched wilderness areas east of the Rockies, a fact which pleases all kinds of snowmobile enthusiasts.
Officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) are excited to announce an event that will bring trail riders and race fans together in one of Maine’s most scenic spots. The inaugural Maine North Woods Sno-X Challenge is set for Saturday and Sunday, March 12-13, at Historic Pittston Farm in Rockwood.

Rock Maple Racing returns to sled racing after five-year hiatus;
announces 2016 Cross Country event schedule
FREMONT, New Hampshire (Nov. 21, 2015) – From its origin in the winter of 1991-92 to the day it was sold in May of 2010, Rock Maple Racing (RMR) was the most widely-recognized and respected sanctioning body for snowmobile snocross racing in the northeastern United States.
After a five-year absence, the name returns – yet this time in the discipline of Cross Country racing. Officials announced their inaugural 2016 schedule on Friday, comprised of a pair of races in both Maine and New Hampshire, along with one each in New York and Vermont.

Officials announce 2016 event schedule at East Coast Snocross,
Presented by AMSOIL, Woody’s Traction and FXR
CLARKSBURG, Mass. (Nov. 27, 2016) – A great mix of familiar sites and new venues will host sanctioned snowmobile racing throughout the northeast, as officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) announce their 2016 event schedule.
As it did in 2014, the circuit will begin its new season with a Hillcross event on January 16-17 at a site to be announced shortly. Hillcross is an exciting form of sled racing and has been popular here in New England for several years. ECS will close out its 2016 campaign with Hillcross on Apr. 9-10.

The start of the ski season in New Hampshire is here as Wildcat began its season today, Wednesday, November 25 offering top-to-bottom skiing and riding. Under sunny skies, skiers and riders were enjoying manmade machine groomed conditions on over 2,100 feet of vertical on the Lynx trail accessed by the Wildcat Express Quad. Just in time for Thanksgiving and the holiday weekend, Wildcat Mountain is now open daily while it continues to make snow every chance possible to be adding additional trails and terrain. Kislowski Racing preps for 2016 ECS season; Seven-rider Arctic Cat team gets ready for battle

Jess Racing adds Pro rider Jake Scott, veteran Mike Bauer
for 2015-16 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series
WESTMINSTER, Mass. (Oct. 23, 2015) – One of New England’s most well-respected snowmobile race teams is gearing up for a brand new season, and they’ve added two new high-profile veterans to an already successful mix.
Massachusetts-based Jess Racing competes on the ISOC AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACS), led by veteran rider Montana Jess. The team is proud to officially welcome Pro rider Jake Scott and former racer Mike Bauer as Scott’s mechanic for the 2015-16 season. Scott will compete in the Pro Open class, while Jess will advance from Sport to Pro Lite.

Wildcat Mountain Starts Snowmaking Operations – Pushing for Top to Bottom Opening Soon
October 19, 2015 – Pinkham Notch, NH – Wildcat Mountain took advantage of the cold snap over the weekend to start up it’s snowmaking for the upcoming season. With temperatures in the 20s during the daylight hours and teens overnight snowmakers were able to create a healthy amount of snow on the summit and midway down the mountain on Upper & Middle Lynx trails.
Wildcat Mountain opened on November 9th last season and is determined to open with top to bottom skiing and riding on day 1 says Brian Heon, General Manager of Wildcat Mountain.
