First day of the year and what a beautiful one it is! But don’t take my word for it, come on up and see yourself!
NEW YEARS EVE! Our mountain is fully stocked with snow making, plush surfaces and beautiful sunny skies. We are gearing up for holiday festivities tonight. Ski or ride until 11:30pm and tube until 11pm! Terrain park has 20 features & the tubing park has 14 lanes. Most of our trails are filled with snow. However, Tomahawk Trail, Lobo, & Big Bow are closed today in order for tonight’s FIREWORKS to be set up. Come ski Nashoba!
Cranmore Mountain – 6 Cranmore Dec 30
The new year is almost here! Watch it come in with us here at Wachusett! Ski until midnight, listen to live music and drink some hot chocolate!
Cranmore Mountain – Fresh Snow 12-30-13
Despite the nasty rain last night, our conditions are pretty good this morning! We have 15 trails and 8 lifts open. Our tubing park has 14 lanes with FAST speeds. Our terrain park keeps expanding and is now up to 20 features, with 12 rails, 3 jumps, 3 bank turns, & 2 rollers. Come out and enjoy the warm weather!
We were able to hold onto our base depths of 18-34 inches even after yesterday’s rain and although today’s mid 30’s temperatures will allow for comfortable skiing and riding, we can expect things to cool down during the week for optimum snow making. Not to mention the fresh powder that Mother Nature is predicted to be dropping on us at the end of the week!
This is our second episode “POW” we filmed from january til march in the backcountry, all in Austria and a bit in Japan. Hope you guys like it and stay tuned for our next episode, what will be The Park episode.
