The Mountain Ops Crew is working on Snowmaking Upgrades and keeping the grounds looking sweet. The Kitchen Crew is killing it with the new brewpub & catering menus, and the Bar & Serving team are pumping out incredible service at weekly events.
Upcoming events include the Matt Closson Memorial Concert & Phundraiser on Friday, July 24th, starting at 4pm and 6:30pm. This event features the Farmhouse Project & Phriends taking to the Dirigo FCU stage, with Pinky D’s Food Truck Onsite at 5:30pm. The Matt Closson Memorial Scholarship benefits an Edward Little High Senior and is in memory of Matthew Closson.
The Kona Big Wave Concert Series runs from June 19th to September 4th. Events are held every Friday at Lost Valley in Auburn for the Kona Big Wave Summer Concert Series. Doors open at 4pm, with music starting at 6:30pm. The series features Kona Big Wave and other favorites, select cocktails, ciders, and seltzers from the outdoor bar, plus full bar offerings inside. Weekly rotating food trucks are on site each week, and sit-down dining is available in Lost Valley’s Pub.
Other Foodie Events include a Prime Rib Special on July 22nd and 23rd ($32 includes a 12oz Prime Rib cooked to perfection and Potato & Vegetable Sides), Live Music on Wednesday, July 22nd at 6pm from Jed Allen, National Wing Day with Coors Light on Wednesday, July 29th, and Pub Pairing events from August 11th through August 15th.
Food trucks scheduled include Pinky D’s Poutine on July 24th, Mow’s Munchies on July 31st, Cruzin’ Slice on August 7th, Rollin’ in the Dough on August 14th, and L/A Taco on August 21st. Oktoberfest German Dining is scheduled for September 29th through October 2nd, presented by Roopers on Friday, October 2nd.
Other major events include the Maine Revival Concert on August 1st, benefiting Pain to Power. The Wishes in the Valley event, benefiting Make-A-Wish Maine, is scheduled for August 8th, with doors opening at 3pm and featuring live music from ISH & Fire in the Hole. The 3rd Annual Baxter Beer Games are on August 20th, where teams compete for medals in Polish Horseshoes, Battleship Beer Pong, 1-hole Disc Golf challenge, and the Beer Pitcher Relay Race.
A schedule of July and August events includes Tito’s Tuesday Trivia with Two Lops Trivia on July 21st, July 28th, and August 4th, along with Prime Rib Night, Surfside Cornhole Series, Kona Concert Series, and various fundraisers throughout the month.
