Eaton Mountain is a ski-area and snow-tubing destination in Skowhegan, Maine. Main Street Skowhegan’s November 2018 reporting describes the Beers family’s work on the mountain after purchasing it in 2008.
The civic organization now reproduces an owner update dated November 26, 2025. That update said winter operations would remain suspended while the owners worked toward an eventual reopening and summer activities. It also asked visitors to respect the property’s private status and stay off the site.
The notice concerns winter 2025–26; it does not confirm access or an opening for 2026–27. Check for a newer owner announcement before planning a visit, and do not assume the mountain is open for skiing, tubing or other recreation.
