Venue to host 2020 season opener for new sanctioning body

SALEM, N.H. (Nov. 22, 2019) — One of the northeast’s most popular and well-designed powersports racing venues will play a key role in helping local snocross teams prepare for the coming season. 

Winchester Speedpark, located in scenic Winchester, New Hampshire, will be the site of a snocross practice facility this December. Practice sessions are slated for Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 21-22.

Plattekill Mountain to Offer Private Ski and Stay Packages

ROXBURY, NY: Since 2013, Plattekill Mountain has been offering customers the opportunity to rent the entire ski mountain for a day on any non-holiday Monday or Thursday during ski season. The idea has gained in popularity in recent years, with the last three seasons being almost entirely booked. What’s more, while private mountain rentals started off primarily as groups of friends or family looking for a fun winter getaway in the Catskill Mountains, the resort has seen a dramatic increase in the number of corporate groups booking mountain rentals for a range of events, from employee appreciation days to team building outings, business retreats, and beyond.

LOON MOUNTAIN RESORT ANNOUNCES OPENING DAY 

LINCOLN, NH (November 11, 2019) – Thanks to the most powerful snowmaking system in New Hampshire and a coming winter storm, Loon Mountain Resort will open with the most terrain in the state on Friday, November 15 at 9 a.m.   

Skiers and riders can kick off their season with top-to-bottom skiing and riding from the Gondola on Exodus, Bear Claw Extension, Flying Fox, Upper Picked Rock, Upper Bear Claw, Grand Junction, Lower Bear Claw, Seven Brothers, Crosscut, Link and Brookway. On Saturday, Loon will continue to expand terrain as snowmaking temperatures permit and will be open for daily operation. Guest services will be open in the Octagon Lodge, as well as food and beverage offerings and the Paul Bunyan Room. The Loon Mountain Sports retail shop and tuning center will also be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Plattekill to Host 10th Annual Family Fall Festival

On Saturday October 12, 2019, Plattekill Mountain in Roxbury, NY will host its10th Annual “Plattepalooza” Family Fall festival. This annual event, which is held every year on the Saturday of the Columbus Weekend, has become the largest event of the mountain’s non-winter season.
