Sugarloaf Bike Park Summer Update
Bike Park Manager Adam Craig provides an update on the ongoing work and planned activities at Sugarloaf Bike Park this summer. The team has been focused on reworking existing flow trails, involving extensive hand work over eight weeks to improve the experience for riders. They have also made specific adjustments to berms and corners across the park to enhance the riding experience.
In addition to trail maintenance, the park is actively developing new features. Progress is being made on the lower section of the Tiger Eye construction, with plans to complete upper sections later in the season. The goal is to create a diverse range of terrain, including wood and rock features, to challenge riders of all abilities.
Sugarloaf Bike Park also offers various programming throughout the summer, including youth gravity camps for riders aged 7 to 14, women’s clinic weekends, and participation in a grassroots Enduro race series involving other Maine destinations like Mount Abram. The park continues to focus on adding new terrain and welcoming a wide variety of riders.
