The KB Ski Swap is happening this weekend at Kissing Bridge, offering deals on new and used gear, free buddy passes, and opportunities for local jobs.
The event runs from November 6 to 8. Participants can browse skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, apparel, and more from local and regional shops, along with a large selection of quality used gear priced to move. All proceeds from used equipment sales benefit the Kissing Bridge Volunteer Ski Patrol, with twenty percent of the sales going directly to them.
Participating shops include Mud, Sweat & Gears, The City Garage, The Board Room, Lyon Sporting, Little Mountain Limited, and Colden Ski & Board Shop. Gear can be dropped off starting Thursday, November 6, at 1:00 PM, and unsold equipment must be picked up by Sunday, November 8, at 2:00 PM.
Special offers are available, including the chance to purchase an Unlimited Season Pass and receive two free Buddy Passes, or buy one tubing ticket and get one free. The event also features a job fair with over 100 opportunities available across the mountain, including roles in Chairlift Operations, Snowmaking, Grooming, Mechanics, Food & Beverage, Snow Tubing, Ski & Ride Instruction, and Rentals.
Scenic chairlift rides are available on Saturday from 12 PM to 5 PM, and the restaurant and bar will be open all weekend. There will also be yard games and outdoor fun available for the whole family.
