Newfields Sno-Raiders is a volunteer snowmobile club associated with the Rockingham Recreational Rail Trail area. The state’s Portsmouth Branch resource lists the club among its maintenance partners. Use the club website for local information.

Check the map and report together

The club’s trail-map page links a regional map image. Ask the club which edition and route guidance to use; the image does not establish current permissions, parking or an open connection.

The trail report displays a closed-gates notice alongside grooming ratings dated February and March 2026. The homepage labels its update March 15, 2026. Those winter ratings are not present conditions. Check the latest dated notice and ask about your intended route before travelling.

Use the correct rail-trail resource

The state’s Portsmouth Branch page provides regional planning and parking information, including a warning about the active railroad. Its linked work-map screenshot labels the trail at Jackman Road as the Fremont Branch and dates the crossing installation December 2025. Although linked from the Portsmouth Branch page, that screenshot is a separate branch-specific work notice, not a current Portsmouth Branch closure or completion report. Follow current signs and confirm the intended branch and access details.

Join or volunteer through the club

The joining page supplies the club’s membership link. Confirm the applicable season, fees and provider terms before applying. Ask the club for its next meeting and volunteer arrangements rather than relying on an old recurring schedule.
