An email from Mt. Abram Adult Prom is coming November 14! Plus, there are mountain updates and information regarding upcoming ski show appearances. Crews have been making the most of the shoulder season, tackling projects around the mountain and getting everything ready for the upcoming ski season. There is a busy November ahead with several ski shows and fun events happening at the mountain.

Around the Mountain: Winter Preparations There has been no shortage of activity around Mt. Abram this shoulder season. The Lift Operations crew is well ahead of schedule on routine maintenance and preseason preparations, while the Mountain Operations team is wrapping up some snowmaking upgrades. They are looking forward to expanded snowmaking coverage on Westside, including improvements to Skyline. This will allow the grooming crew the ability to fully groom the ski trail again over the berms of the Super Chicken bike trail that cross Skyline, pending favorable temperatures. Over at the Sawicki Magic Carpet, a brand-new lift shack has also been installed. Plenty of work remains underway across the mountain as they look forward to opening day.

Friday, November 14, Mt. Abram is hosting the Eddy School Adult Prom, which is a fundraiser for The Eddy School Scholarship Fund. The evening includes a cocktail hour with live music by Peter Koch at 7 pm, followed by dancing until 10 pm. Loose Boots Lounge is also hosting a special pre-prom dinner from 5:30–7 pm, featuring glazed barbecue chicken, homemade macaroni & cheese, roasted vegetables, salad, and rolls, with live music provided by Peter Koch. Only 30 dinner seats are available.
