Trail maps
For historical context, the Town of Barre’s forest plan includes an access and recreation map dated March 25, 2013 (PDF page 169). It shows snowmobile trails within Barre Town Forest; the plan identifies the Thunder Chickens as their local managers. The map is by The Trust for Public Land, with trail information from Millstone Trail Association. This historical planning map covers the forest only and does not establish current routes, parking or permission to ride.
A current map covering the club’s full trail network was not verified in the reviewed sources. Use VAST’s official Vermont interactive trail map and the club’s dated notices for closures and reroutes.
Confirm local map availability with the club. Map coverage and nearby area weather do not establish open trails, parking or permission to ride.
